Festivals Around The World (Japanese title: Sekai no Matsuri 世界の祭り) is a documentary series of iconic festivals and the profound culture worldwide. TV branding enhances and engages audiences’ experience as if participating in the festival in real life. Started as a pilot and extended to a series of 4 episodes.
The Carnival of Venice [Italy]: The concept was based on Venice’s spiritual relationship with water, the eccentric carnival atmosphere and mystic history. The design symbolised a Venetian mask with Renaissance-inspired textures like marble and velvet, immersing the audience.
Up Helly Aa [Shetland]: The design reflects Viking sagas, Shetland’s tranquil nature, and culture. Story of Viking ships arriving at the island, with church stained glass portraying the Viking legend.
Festival of Lights Lyon [France]: The concept blends arts and Lyon’s culture, with hand-painted illustrations reflecting Lyon’s illuminating spirituality, artistry, and community.
Festival of San Fermín [Spain]: Emphasises heat, sound, and emotions. The design illustrated Pamplona’s powerful culture, history, heartfelt communities, and customs.
