About The Principal
Sophy Kata (Katagiri)
CEO / Creative Director & Strategic ConsultantSophy is the principal of Visionesque, a branding and design studio that connects brands across diverse cultural landscapes.
Since obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from Central Saint Martins and a Master’s in Digital Design from the University of Huddersfield, she has worked in the creative media industry as a designer, creative director, and producer.
With over 18 years of experience as a certified brand specialist, producer, director, and creator in TV, music, and advertising, she has worked on over 100 high-profile branding and design projects, including award events and live shows.
In 2019, she founded Visionesque, following her passion for visual storytelling and accessible communication design. She explores designing inclusive environments and developing ideas to unite design, people, and stories around the world.
In her private life, Sophy is passionate about minimalism and sustainable living. She runs her own YouTube channel, where she shares methods of intentional living. She also conducts real-time marketing research on social media trends and algorithms.
